Soneakqua J. White, M.A.,LPC-S has been in the mental health field for the past nine years. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Child Development and Family and Consumer Sciences from Baylor University in 1998, she went on to complete a Master of Arts in Counseling from Amberton University in 2002. She was licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners to practice counseling in 2006. She received the certification to supervise LPC interns in 2008 and is currently working toward becoming a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP).
As a Christian company, the counselors do believe in prayer and relying on faith through the process. However, non-Christian clients are welcomed! At the Table Counseling is a developmental organization which focuses on empowering the community through counseling and training. The agency offers several different services depending on the needs of the client. Soneakqua, the primary clinician, consults with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings. She offers individual, family, group and couples counseling. Also offered are skills training and Collaborative Law. The most common issues worked with are anxiety, depression and adjustment difficulties due to day-to-day life situations.
